If there is potential for rainfall to transport
contaminants off-site into surface or ground water, some form of treatment prior
to discharge is likely to be required.
There are treatment options available ranging from ponds and sand filters to
bio-retention systems such as constructed wetlands. However once site constraints
and the contaminants of concern are identified the choice is generally limited
to one or two measures.
Controls are available that can provide on-site treatment which allows treated
discharges to leave the site with minimum impact.
The B & A team have up to date knowledge of the various treatment options and
what will be acceptable to Council. Concept designs or full construction drawings
can be supplied with supporting calculations and stormwater modeling as required.
